BEYOND WEALTH

A buyer’s guide for service businesses

All-in-one small business software: what it really costs.

By Ethan Mason, founder of Beyond Wealth (Salt Lake City, Utah). Competitor prices checked Nov 5, 2026 on each company’s own pricing page. We sell the Business Suite, so weigh our view with that in mind.

Short answer

A 5-person service business that buys separate apps for jobs, bookkeeping, forms, e-signature, reviews and a website often pays about $575 to $725 a month (our tally of published prices, Nov 5, 2026). Most all-in-one plans for a small team list for roughly $30 to $500 a month, but per-user pricing, onboarding fees, yearly contracts and usage-based texting change the real number.

Field-service apps (Jobber, Housecall Pro) are strongest on jobs. Marketing platforms (GoHighLevel, Keap, HubSpot) are strongest on campaigns. The Beyond Wealth Business Suite puts both sides in one app from $80 a month.

What “all-in-one” should cover.

Most owners do five jobs every week. A real all-in-one handles each of them without a second login:

If a platform covers only two or three of these, you will still buy other apps, and the comparison should include them.

How to choose in 15 minutes.

  1. Count the people who need the app in the field and in the office. That decides the price step on most platforms.
  2. Write down the five jobs above and mark which ones you do every week. Ignore features you will not use.
  3. Price the plan that covers your weekly jobs, including add-ons, extra users and onboarding. Use monthly billing for an honest comparison, then check what a yearly commitment saves.
  4. Check how you get paid. Built-in card processing, PayPal and Square all work; pick the one your customers already use.
  5. Ask who sets it up. An unfinished setup is the most common reason software goes unused.

Where the Beyond Wealth Business Suite fits.

The Business Suite puts the CRM, lead finder, forms and landing pages, website chat, online booking, jobs and crews, a crew phone app, contracts with e-signature, quotes, invoices, service plans, money tracking, one inbox, missed-call text-back, automations, review requests and a start-a-business kit in one app. Every tool is on every plan:

Honest limits: payments run through PayPal pay links, crew members use a private web link rather than an app-store app, texting needs your own Twilio number, and the Money tab is bookkeeping-lite, not full accounting. If you need payroll or bank reconciliation, keep your accounting software. You can try every tool for 3 days for $8, and there is no contract.

Prefer to have the marketing done for you? Beyond Wealth also runs lead generation, local SEO, ads and review requests for Utah service businesses, each with a published price.

Questions owners ask.

What is the best all-in-one software for a small service business?

It depends on where your time goes. Field-service apps like Jobber and Housecall Pro are strongest on scheduling crews and invoicing. Marketing platforms like GoHighLevel and Keap are strongest on campaigns and funnels. The Beyond Wealth Business Suite combines the jobs side and the customer side from $80 a month.

How much does all-in-one business software cost?

Published list prices in November 2026 ran from free (Square Appointments, basic) to about $500 a month for most small-business plans, before extra users, onboarding fees and usage-based texting. A comparable stack of separate apps for a 5-person team came to about $575 to $725 a month.

Can one app replace QuickBooks?

Usually not completely. Our Money tab tracks income, expenses, mileage and profit by job and exports for tax time, which is enough for many owner-operators. If you run payroll or need bank reconciliation, keep your accounting software and your accountant.

Is all-in-one software worth it for a one-person business?

Often yes, if it replaces two or more paid apps and you actually use the booking, quoting and follow-up. If you only need invoices, a single invoicing app may be cheaper.

Do I have to sign a yearly contract?

Not with the Business Suite: it is billed monthly and you cancel from your account. Some platforms in this guide require yearly licensing or charge an early termination fee, so check before you sign.
